Still no news for Breakaway Homes customers
In February, the failed mobile home company, Breakaway Homes was 'In the News' because of a BBC South programme which went into how the company sold its mobile homes and plots in France and Spain and how some people had lost their retirement savings when the company went into administration in November.
5 months on from the company going under and those customers who lost money in deposits and payment-in-full for mobile homes which never came are still waiting to hear whether they will get anything back and are finding it difficult to get responses from Breakaway Homes' administrators, Vantis plc. Whether they get anything appears to depend on the sale of land in Spain belonging to another company run by the director of Breakaway Homes.
