Most GPs are against extending out-of-hours care
A recent survey published by the British Medical Journal has found that nearly 75% of GPs do not think that extending out of hours care would be a good use of NHS resources. However, 53.3 % said that they would consider extending their out of hours service if extra funding were made available.
Nearly 66% of those questioned said that NHS changes implemented by the Labour Government made it harder to practise good medicine.
