Tesco plans home IT support service

Retail giant Tesco plans to launch its own home IT support service to rival the likes of PC World, Dixons, Currys, Comet and Carphone Warehouse. Tesco recently acquired computer support specialists PC Guys and is trialling its support service in one store, with a view to a national roll-out in the New Year. The service will compete with PC World's The Tech Guys, Carphone Warehouse's Geek Squad and Comet's Comet on Call services.
