BA to open up new routes with 'Open Skies' treaty

Airline, British Airways, has announced plans to start running flights from Continental Europe to the US. The flights will be under a new brand 'OpenSkies' named after the 'Open Skies' international treaty that will liberalise transatlantic air travel when it comes into force in 3 months' time. The move puts British Airways in direct competition with airlines such as Air France-KLM that already operate routes from Europe to the US.
