UK has most expensive hotels in Europe
The UK has the most expensive hotels in Europe, according to a new survey out today. The average cost of a one-night stay in a UK hotel rose by 12% to £106 last year.
The most expensive city for hotels in the UK is Bath (£117 per night), closely followed by London (£115 per night), Oxford (£113 per night) and Aberdeen (£109 per night). Coventry was the cheapest city (£57 per night).
The only cities with more expensive hotels than any in the UK were Moscow (£194 per night), New York (£143 per night) and Dubai and Venice (both £125 per night).
