10,000 days wasted by delayed trains over last 2 years
A report by the National Audit Office released today says 800,000 delays occurred on Britain's trains in 2006/07. This added up to 14 million lost minutes (10,000 days) and cost the public £1 billion in lost time. The report says the rail industry should provide passengers with better information when delays occur.
