More cancelled flights at Terminal 5
Baggage problems at Heathrow's Terminal 5 is set to continue this week as British Airways (BA) deals with a backlog of 15,000 lost bags. BA cancelled 37 Terminal 5 flights yesterday and a further 54 are expected today. This amounts to more than 450 flights cancelled since the opening of Terminal 5 last week. The cancellations have been caused by problems with the baggage handling system (as reported 'In the News' on 28 March).
