9th Ryanair advert banned in 2 years

Low-cost airline, Ryanair, is in trouble with the advertising watchdog again after it today upheld a complaint about a Rynair advert and referred the airline to the Office of Fair Trading for further investigation. This latest complaint, which centred around Ryanair's promotion in late 2007 of 2 million flights for £10 - which some consumers were unable to take advantage of, was the 9th compaint to be upheld by the Advertising Standards Authority concerning a Ryanair advert in the last 2 years.

Ryanair could now face a heavy fine from the OFT.
