Less people fly with BA following Terminal 5 fiasco
Following the fiasco of British Airways (BA) misplaced bags at Terminal 5 (reported 'In the News' 1 April), BA's passenger traffic numbers fell in April. BA's traffic fell 7.9% (221,000 passengers) compared to April last year.
Conversely Ryanair's traffic increased 15% for the same period. In April Ryanair carried 4.72 million passengers compared to BA's 2.5 million.
