One in four unhappy with digital TV
According to research conducted by uSwitch.com, one in four customers of the big three digital television providers are unhappy with the service. This equates to an estimated 6 million viewers of Freeview, Sky Digital and Virgin Media. Unsurprisingly Freeview came top for value for money as it is a free to use digital service. However Sky Digital had the best overall approval rating for its service at 76%.
The news comes as BBC and ITV recently launched their new freeview service Freesat (reported 'In the News' 6 May).
