Films available through Apple's iTunes

Apple users can now buy or rent films through Apple's iTunes. Apple have signed a deal with seven film production companies to allow films to be downloaded for rental or purchase on the same day they are released on DVD. There are over 700 films available through iTunes, 100 of which are available in high-definition. It costs £6.99 to buy a classic library film and £10.99 for new releases. Rental costs £2.49 for library films and £3.49 for new releases and lasts 30 days. High definition costs £1 more in all cases. Prices are however significantly higher in the US, with for example rentals in the US at £2 for new releases.
