Only 56% of Heathrow flights left on time
Figures released yesterday by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) show that punctuality targets at London's Heathrow airport are the worst for seven years. For the first three months of 2008, only 56% of Heathrow flights left on time. London's City Airport also scored poorly with 58% of flights leaving on time. Flights are included in the CAA's punctuality figures if they are more than 15 minutes late to depart or arrive.
