BT facing 'super-complaint' over prison phone calls

Telecoms company BT is facing a 'super complaint' today against the amounts it charges prisoners to make phone calls. The 'super complaint, which is being brought by the National Consumer Council, backed by the Prison Reform Trust, alleges that a 30-minute call made in a jail can cost up to seven times the amount payable from a public pay-phone.
