Fuel price war expected after ASDA and Morrisons cut prices

Supermarket chains Asda and Morrisons have announced that they plan to cut the cost of their unleaded and diesel fuel, Asda by 3p per litre and Morrisons by 4p. The move, which is in response to a recent fall in the price of oil, is hoped to spark a fuel price war among other supermarkets with rival supermarkets Sainsbury's and Tesco now offering reduced price fuel for shoppers who spend over £50 in their stores.
