Thousands of mainstream websites infected by Asprox virus

Thousands of government and other mainstream websites are thought to have been infected by a computer virus known as Asprox during the last two weeks, allowing hackers access to many users' personal details. Sites that have been infected include those run by the NHS and one local council. Security experts estimate that the virus has spread to at least two million computers worldwide but the actual number of people who have lost personal details is not known.
