Water companies seek greater powers over non-paying customers
Water companies are reportedly pressing the Government to make it easier for companies to pursue customers who refuse to pay their bills amid concerns about a worsening economic situation. Those in the water industry believe that some customers may deliberately avoid paying their bills as they know that they cannot be disconnected.
