BA bosses to face price-fixing prosecution

Four former and current bosses of airline British Airways could face criminal prosecution for price-fixing after they allegedly conspired with their counterparts at Virgin Atlantic to fix the price of fuel surcharges on long-haul flights. The prosecution is expected to be announced by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) today. If convicted, the executives could face a maximum sentence of five years in jail and unlimited fines.
