Royal Mail compensates 39% of customer complaints
Last year the Royal Mail paid more than £12 million in compensation claims from customer complaints. Royal Mail received 1,439,245 complaints last year and 555,416 (39%) of those received compensation. Complaints range on a variety of issues including lost and delayed post and rudeness of staff.
