Ryanair delays Edinburgh airport routes
Ryanair has cancelled flights from Edinburgh airport for the next six weeks due to industrial strike action at Boeing. Edinburgh is scheduled to be a new base for Ryanair with 11 routes planned including flights to Bournemouth, Krakow, Malaga and Palma. However the delivery of two new Boeing 737 planes has been delayed due to the strike. Ryanair's Edinburgh flights are now expected to commence from 5 November. Any passengers booked onto cancelled Edinburgh flights will receive a full refund.
