Post Office considering mobile phone market

The Post Office is said to be considering entering the mobile phone market, following the success of its broadband offering launched last year (reported in 'In the News' on 24 October 2007). Telecoms is an important area for the Post Office as it looks to increase revenues. It says it is aiming to be "among the three cheapest in the market but still have excellent customer service".
