Primark's London store hits sales record
Last saturday, the value fashion chain, Primark's flagship store on Oxford Street, London saw its biggest sales on one day for one store in Primark's 39-year history. Despite the economic gloom, sales were up on the same day last year. However the picture was mixed for Primark's UK-wide stores.
Last year, Primark was voted the UK's most popular value clothing retailer (reported in 'In the News' on 26 Oct 07).
