Fixed rate British Gas customers losing out
Fixed rate gas bill customers are losing out from the latest gas price cuts. Last Thursday British Gas announced a 10% cut in gas prices (reported 'In the News'). Their cheapest 'web saver' tariff is now £1,058 per year compared to £1,427 for those who are fixed until 2012. Approximately 3.5 million British Gas customers are on a fixed rate tariff.
