Future of Principles looks in doubt as no buyer found

The future of the clothing chain, Principles, looks in doubt after administrators for their parent company, Mosaic, announced that they had not been able to find a buyer. Mosaic went into administration last week (reported in 'In the News' on 3 Mar 09).

66 of Principles high-street stores will close imminently. The remaining 19 will continue to trade. The department store Debenhams will temporarily run Principles concessions in its stores. 172 non-Debenhams concessions will also remain trading for the time being.
