I was put onto Advantage Finance by a broker. Given the fact that my credit history was in a critical condition, I was glad to get finance at all. The interest is worked on a flat rate, which in my case worked out to around 186%!!. On the upside, you can pay it off in a shorter space of time and avoid paying too much of this exorbitant amount. They failed to pay the dealer when they said they would, resulting in my complete embarrassment. It was only after I called Advantage that they discovered an error in the payment that no-one had picked up. I was sold three policies along with the finance covering GAP, Accident & Sickness and Warranty insurance and these proved to be very difficult to cancel within the cooling-off period. So, in conclusion, while they may be bumbling and greedy, I got my car in the end and am very happy with it.

I would not recommend this company even to my enemies, made a major mistake in gaining finance of them to purchase a car. lent approx £5300 repaid close to £9000 this included insurance settlement after the car was unfortunately written off 18 months later, asked was that it? on final sum, told no they wanted a payment missed whilst sorting out insurance ( i thought it would be sorted!). they said for goodwill they would call it £400 + to end agreement? even after the hugh sums paid to them. i refused because in reality i did not owe them but was told i would owe over a thousand if not paid,i said i would seek legal advice if need so they backed off then months later sent a bill for approx £1100. then within days they sold this debt to a recovery agency who are nailing me to the floor. so unless desperate for money beware avoid these sharks at all costs because you will be ripped off ruthlessely. i could go on and on because they make my blood boil in their tactics to gain more then fair share of money.
