Amazon.co.uk

I've used amazon many times and am very happy with their service. Goods are always well packed and they keep you up to date on your order with regular emails. When I have occasionally needed to speak to their customer services they have always sorted my problem out first time. Prices are not always the absolute cheapest but they are usually not far off, and the little bit extra is worth it to know your goods will be well packaged and you will be kept up to date.

One of the worst online retailers there is. They're not the cheapest any more and their deliveries take anything up to a fortnight to arrive when most online retailers will send goods within day or two. As for their Marketplace, well that's the biggest rip off since Ebay! Amazon making a tidy profit out of people selling/buying things so customers doing all the work, Amazon basic just host the site. To me that implies they should have some level of responsibility, however when things go wrong they take ZERO responsibility. Out of curiousity I sometimes might still check their site when I order something to confirm they're really not the cheapest, so far I haven't had to order anything from them and always found it cheaper elsewhere. Books, electronics, games, movies etc., all cheaper elsewhere.

Frankly I don't see what's so great about this retailer. They're not the cheapest, their customer service is non-existent, they take forever to deliver and their marketplace is almost as big a rip off as Ebay. In fact you pay THEM to sell your stuff to others, how kind of them.

I'm a big fan of Amazon - never had a problem with their items. Had one problem with the Marketplace but Amazon came in quickly to resolve matters. I am a regular customer and will continue to shop with them.

Always received goods in good timescales. Great for cost comparisons with high street + you get don't have to leave your seat! Even better if you select goods with free delivery.

Use them a fair bit. Neutral on service cos all i see of them is their packaging. One issue is their good p+p rates are undermined by allowing merchants that work via amazon to charge appalling p+p rates. Amazon should set out a code of practice here for people that want to see under the amazon umbrella

easy to use website, very comprehensive.As a seller I find their commission charges high on low value sales but it is a nice easy medium to use
