not often that she lets me do the shopping,but on this occasion it was how would one say,straight forward,relaxing and quick. Everything was labeled, where you would expect it to be,and most of all at a very good price with a selection that left me speachless.

Asda's customer service is appauling. I have complained many times but nothing is ever done. It's got increasingly worse since those self service checkouts were introduced. Staff now think they are paid to stand around and chat while you sort yourself out. However those machines stop every 30 seconds displaying "assistance needed" therefore you need to ask a member of staff for help and they look at you as if to say you have just interrupted their conversation. I mean it's not as if there payed to work is it. And whats the name of their slogan "Always happy to help"? That is a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!

I find that my shoping is always cheper at Asda, staff seem to be very knowelgable.

Bought milk in one asda store in London, and when home noticed the use by date already met and the milk was sour. Went to a nearer ASDA to my home (with receipt and full milk), and they told me to go back to the original ASDA store (that is far away 30mins drive) to change the milk! As the product code for the milk is not on their system! I insisted they call the other store which they did and confirmed the milk was sold from the other ASDA but I was still told I had to travel out of my way for their mistake stocking out of date milk. Time I do not have to spare. Very poor customer service. Needless to say, I am no longer an ASDA customer.

Just terrible, staff did not want to know, they swear in front of my 5 and 1 year old, didn’t offer to help pack bags, had broken glass stuck on some items that I didn’t see and cut myself on.

Excellent at handling customer complaints. Have switched from Tescos (appalling customer service) to Asda.
