my 94yr old father contacted elite mobility about buying an electric scooter. The salesman called. My father John Franks was there alone. Iwas dissappointed that they chose to sell him a scooter that cost £4000 plus they took his previous scooter as part exchange. He is a frail old man it was much to heavy for him to handle. It was like taking candy from a baby. I accept they did nothing illegal. Just immoral. They would not have made the sale if I had been present. After the sale they were not interested in whether he was happy or not . They just took the money and ran. Is this the way to treat old people.

hi im mike from elite mobility and would just like to address the above issues. firstly the reason your father contacted us was because he had previuosly bought a scooter from ourselves and was obviously happy enough to contact us again when he wanted to upgrade to a larger scooter, and did not feel the need to have a family member present. We did not just take the money and run, as we have always offered a very good level of service for your father, the scooter in question was purchased in may and when you asked if we would buy back the scooter quite a few months later ( look at date of message posted above) we within our rights declined. Im sorry if you feel we have acted unfairly and felt the need for this to be posted without letting us give our version of events, but this message has only just come to our attention thus the long time it has taken to reply. Although i think it unfair that comments like this can be posted without our knowledge, rest assured to the daughter of mr franks who rang me just 2 days ago for a new set of keys because they have lost them and had not taken the key number, i have endeavoured to find all the serial numbers needed and sourced the keys for you, so as you can see this is the type of service that makes existing customers return.
