High time the authorities went in and investigated this outfit properly. The directors have pocketed tens of millions of lump sums paid to them by communities, government agencies and developers to maintain land in perpetuity. Not to mention the millions they've purloined through heavy handed debt collection tactics. The money has been ferreted away through family members and the vast web of small businesses attached to the three main directors - Alex Middleton, Tony Burton OBE and Richard M Taylor Chartered Accountant. Much of this money is sitting off shore. They are attempting to offload some of it in CVC bids for the Post Office and National Express. The company has several sets of accounts. The published ones show huge losses and huge loans. They are simply playing fast and loose with other people's money - our money actually as it's HBOS that seems to keep bailing them out.

They treat their customers with utter contempt. If they were a real business then they would have no customers left. They get away with it because they think we are forced to be their customers and we cant get rid of them, ever. Well Middleton, Taylor, Burton and your lackies, Cummins MacQuillan and Beveridge, We will get rid of you. 1. You are in breach of contract. 2. You are an illegal monopoly 3. We have an unfair contract under the 1998 unfair contracts law.

Posted by Anonymous at 14:04 on 13-Nov-2009

I'm afraid you're wrong on 2 counts, it's not a contract and the 1998 unfair contract law as you call it is actually the unfair terms in consumer contracts regulations 1998, which don't apply to your situation.

Posted by mrmotivator at 16:47 on 27-Nov-2009

No Greenbelt / Middleton you are wrong.

We do have a contract and it is the deeds that form the contract. This has been conveyed to you by your own solicitors McNabbs. and has been confirmed through the courts.

Now we have clarification that there is a contract the unfair contracts does apply as does the ILLEGAL monopoly.

Posted by Anonymous at 12:59 on 28-Nov-2009

I note GB never challenge the monopoly written into deeds which is clearly contrary to TCSA 2003

Posted by Anonymous at 18:49 on 28-Nov-2009

I would be checking that out if I was you. What is contained in the title deeds is a legal burden, any lawyer worth his salt would know that is different from a contract.

Posted by mrmotivator at 21:35 on 28-Nov-2009

I have checked this out and it has been clarified in a court that there is a contract. The trouble with you middleton (MD of Greenbelt) you would say white is black if it suited you.

Posted by Anonymous at 23:42 on 28-Nov-2009

We will await with interest the ruling in Perth in December where Greenbelt are being sued for a breach of contract

Posted by Anonymous at 23:44 on 28-Nov-2009

where's the court judgement saying you have a contract? you're getting confused with what you think is a contract and what you've actually got. Did you negotiate with Greenbelt when you bought your property?

Posted by mrmotivator at 11:03 on 30-Nov-2009

As I have said, you will find out soon enough. I also notice you never challenge the monopoly in the TCSA 2003

Posted by Anonymous at 12:39 on 30-Nov-2009

Your solicitors , McNabbs of Perth have written to you to say you can be sued as there is a contract when you tried to get out of court action against you by claiming there was no contract. The deeds form the contract.

Posted by Anonymous at 12:42 on 30-Nov-2009

for someone who apparently knows so much, you are making a few wild assumptions there.

Posted by mrmotivator at 13:25 on 30-Nov-2009

I have all the paperwork to prove my claims Mr Middleton.

Posted by Anonymous at 16:37 on 30-Nov-2009

What you've got is a 'community burden' which is a type of 'real burden'. Now...I'm surprised that you don't know that because in the guidance notes to the TCSA, which you seem to know all about,it explains...A real burden is an obligation affecting land or buildings. It is a condition of ownership which runs with the land. The word 'real' is used to distinguish this sort of obligation from a 'personal' obligation, such as a contract.....but I imagine that's probably wrong???

Posted by mrmotivator at 17:38 on 30-Nov-2009

You always like the last word Middleton (MD Greenbelt),

Yes we have a burden, and yes this is none compliant with the TCSA 2003. This burden is written into our deeds alongside a specification of what you should do. This forms a contract as per the case against you in Perth Sheriff court.
You tried to put this argument forward while defending a case against you. Your own solicitors McNabbs of perth told you we can sue you as there IS a contract and this has been backed by a couple of QC's
Perth Sheriff court will be ruling on breach of contract on 30th December on a breach of contract. This charge has been accepted by the court.

We have a contract just like you have a contract with developers who can buy back the land that you take title to for £1:00 subject to planning permission,

Posted by Anonymous at 18:09 on 30-Nov-2009

A 'charge' relates to a criminal action, an action for breach of contract is a civil action. People or companies aren't 'charged' under civil actions, you stick to the facts and I'll do the law.

Posted by mrmotivator at 10:54 on 01-Dec-2009

OK Middleton, nit picking now are we. We will wait until after the 30th December then.

If you were that smart your company would not be picking up so much adverse comment and you would not be the no. 1 worst company

Posted by Anonymous at 12:06 on 01-Dec-2009

Now that made me laugh. I would like to extend my continued congratulations to the household names of 'Chillout Games' as the best company in the country. I will be sure to buy my second hand computer games from them in the future.

Posted by user #6090 at 10:26 on 07-Dec-2009

It never fails, You always show your arrogance in the end middleton and Anne Shipton shows her inexperience as a lawyer, after all she has only worked for Greenbelt.

Posted by Anonymous at 20:52 on 07-Dec-2009

I'm surprised that anyone could find such a serious situation 'funny', Tony Petrocelli worked for himself and he was a brilliant lawyer.

Posted by mrmotivator at 15:36 on 08-Dec-2009

You display such arrogance Mr Middleton, then again, why not, you've got away with providing an inferior service to your 'customers' for years. I say 'customers' however we should be able to choose who we give our custom to, in your case we have no choice! How dare you knock Chill Out Games and the people that have voted them as a top company, sheer arrogance and ignorance. There also happens to be 3 or 4 household names in the top 10. Wake up and smell the coffee, you are useless. I hope you get what you deserve at the court case in Perth.

Posted by Skipper at 10:38 on 25-Dec-2009

Greenbelt are terrible. It's really funny that Mr. Middleton is brave over the internet, but never actually faces us in person. If Greenbelt and Middleton are so correct and doing such a good job, why are they classed as the worst performer, and why are people fighting them in the courts? That is the bottom line. If Greenbelt and co were a good company providing a good service no-one would be wasting their time on websites such as this. We'll fight you to the end Middleton and the injustice you represent.

I purchase a property 2 1/2 year ago. Since completion the residents of the development have maintained the so called open spaces. We have however now received bills for maintaining these open spaces to which I have raise multiple questions but dont seem to get any definite answers only to the questions they want to answer. Confused as what to do. Keep writing to them and am thinking of involving local councillor. the land they are supposed to be maintaining has been maintained by the council in the past

Don't pay them. Send them a bill for time and materials along with a lawsuit for harassment. Be assured, if you pay they will never, ever let their teeth out of you. Join the fight against injustice in our so-called free society. Fuedalism at it's best, and Middleton would be our overlord. He should take a look back in history to see what happens to those who annoy "the peasants".

Greenbelt Group's maintenance wing, MG Contracting is using convicted prisoners to carry out maintenance on estates in the Cental Belt of Scotland. Tagged sex offenders, druggies and thieves nearing the end of their release. Communities are not informed about this and have no ability to get rid of Greenbelt Group and replace it with an honest provider.

The directors names and details are available from Companies House or from the West Myreton Residents website - just do a Google search.
