How I wish I had discovered this site last year! My kitchen was started Aug 09 and STILL isnt complete! The so called surveyor made several mistakes and did not know the product well, ordering glass doors which weren't available in the range I wanted. This meant a major change in the look of the finished design but only came to light when the installation was going ahead. The fitter left on September 22 and a leak occurred the next day, wrecking the new floor. He was too far away to fix, told me to get someone else and he'd pay. Gave me his insurance details but failed to pay his excess, leaving me £560 out of pocket! As if that wasn't enough, one of the doors fell off before Christmas and fitter has disappeared. Have been trying to get KI to sort it out. Finally reported them to Trading Standards and sent "recorded delivery"letters (twice-£9.90!)Got a phone call day after saying they would send someone Mon 8th March. I would advise anyone with a problem to report to Trading Standards(Consumer Direct) 08454040506 as they keep a note of these cases and will investigate. Also report fitter and KI to Gas Safety register as it is against the law to disconnect or fit appliances if not registered as my fitter wasn't. KI sent copies of paperwork they held for him but none in his own name! They obviously don't take any care about the legality of their fitters. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM!

My Experience with Kitchen Italia has been horrendous. I was supposed to have a finished kitchen before Christmas it is now the 9th of February and I still do not have a kitchen that is anywhere near finished. The surveyor they sent round to my house to make sure that the kitchen could fit did not check my waste pipe and tell me that I would need to move it to fit the sink I had ordered from them, which meant I had to fork out more money to another builder to do the job as their kitchen fitter could not do it and I also had to have the wall re-rendered after it had already been done once due to this. He also sold me a tap which couldn't fit between the work top and the unit above, all in all the only thing that he did do was change the plan without telling anyone and add money to my bill. Since then they have been delaying with the work tops and their recommended kitchen fitter has done an unsatisfactory job and will not rectify anything when asked to, his usual response is this is how I fit the kitchens or the company did not send me that. The only course of action I have had to take through no fault of my own is to get an independent surveyor which again has added to my bill to demonstrate that I am not being unreasonable and that this work is not good enough. all in all if I ever manage to get this kitchen finished from them it will be a major miracle and thus would not recommend them to anyone unless they want to be over charged and on the verge of a nervous break down.

We bought a kitchen from Kitchen Italia St Albans in 2007, spending well over £4,000. All was well, but when one draw stopped closing and we couldn't fix it ourselves, we called them, expecting for the draw to be fixed under their post-sales care. They refused, and said they would send someone round for a minimum £70 call out fee (we are less than 2 miles from their office). I am disgusted by their lack of after-care, and would not advise anyone to touch this company.

I found Kitchen Italia profesional and very helpful from start to finish. Fitters were skilled and polite. They finished my kitchen within 4 days.I was immpressed by the speed that a door, damaged during the delivery, was replaced within 24 hours so that my kitchen could be completed. LOVE MY KITCHEN.

Kitchen Italia have been in business supplying fitted kitchens since 1996. Kitchen Italia have fitted 1000's of kitchens over this period with 1000's of satisfied customers. kitchen Italia will always provide a complete service until the customer is happy. Any Company having installed so many kitchens may have a few delays and issues, but will always work to make theirs customers happy. Kitchens are NEVER left unfinished, NEVER left short of product when good are in stock. Kitchen italia do not ask for payment to appointed installers UNTIL the client is happy with their installation. The posting from anonomous people should be taken with a gaurded view. Should you have any issues regarding this Company contact me directly donburden@rocketmail.com

I found this post when looking for Kitchen italias website. I had a very helpful designer who advised us on our kitchen. His ideas totally transformed the design our builder had produced on a scrap of paper and I have to say the quality we have been supplied was exceptional. The kitchen was £7200 for a similar size but did have granite and a couple of appliances. We were let down by our builders supplier, who he said we could never contact directly. Kitchen Italia supplied when they said they would. The fitters who installed were skilled and were a pleasure to have in my home.I would like to give a balanced view as many of these companies only get bad press. I would and have recommended Kitchen Italia to friends and family who experienced the same great service.

My experience with Kitchen Italia has not been a good one. I found them at Grand Designs Live and was sold on the fact that I could get the units in any size as I have a small and awkward kitchen and that there units were of a superior quality and they would supply only. The kitchens are very, very expensive for what they are. I would avoid for this reason alone. My fitters, who have fitted many kitchens have said they are no better than Howdens, at least howdens cabinets come built which Kitchen Italia's are not so adds even more expense. The other problem is that they carry little or no stock so if you need to buy anything you have to order and wait and wait and wait and wait. I ordered my kitchen 3 months ago and have only just got the last door. Unbelievable. They also want to charge for everything and blame your fitters if there is a problem. The kitchen they designed also did not work out as draws could not be opened when the handles were put on. My advice to anyone considering using Kitchen Italia think twice. They are great at sales but thats about all. Please learn from my very expensive mistake. If you are looking for a midrange kitchen use Howdens and get a really good fitter and you will not know the difference. For what Kitchen Italia charge you can get a good quality kitchen from one of the well known suppliers. In summary avoid unless you have money to burn.

Please would you contact myself or my office. I would be only too willing to help you should you not be satisfied with your Kitchen.
Kitchen Italia have never had a disply in stratford Station so it is hard for me to trace who you may be.
I have checked all of the Designers contracts from Stratford Broadway shopping centre which I assume you mean.
There are 4 installations fitted this year from this this Designer from this store.
From the two that had kitchens with granite surfaces from kitchen Italia, one was complete and staisfied and the other is awaiting their granite to be installed.
I will be happy to speak to you should you contact me directly.
All other complaints on this site that are GENUINE and have a legitimate issue have or are in process of being rectified to thier satisfaction.
As Money Saving expert cannot check to the validity of the post they accept I have to accept that this concept of complaining can be used by others to damage a Companies good name and reputation.
Should you wish to contact me directly with any issues you may have with Kitchen Italia please contact

Misleading from the word go as to where the kitchens are manufactured and they are very over priced. Money has to be paid upfront and if anything goes wrong after completion they are loathe to put it right. I had this problem after my kitchen had been fitted. They sent cowboys to rectify the problem who in doing so smashed my sink so I was left for over a week without one. They certainly didn't care about the inconvenience that it had caused and it took many months numerous phone calls and letters from a solicitor for the work to be completed and not to a very high standard considering I had paid over five thousand pounds (and this was without any new appliances)for the kitchen which is very small. All in all not a very reputable company and I certainly would not recommend them to any one not even my worst enemy!!STEER WELL CLEAR

to it may concern a while i reported problems with after care service from kitchen italia and reported it in a few media places, now i wish to up date and inform you of the following due to various complaints to after sales service of kitchen italia , they have now resolved the problems i was facing as i stated in the articles i wrote that the quality of the kitchens from them are fine and in good order, it was just that the post installation of the kitchen was lenghty and of no use whatsoever. regretfully for kitchen italia and myself the fitter decided to run off with my money and left the job unfinished, which left me with a major problem. kitchen italia have now looked at the situation and have sought an alternative fitter and out of the own pockets have installed and finalized my kitchen.. subsequently they will seek legal advise against the previous and original fitter and i will assist them in bringing this person to justice may i also state and confirm that i wish to rebuke any remarks or suggestion that the after sales service was negative and non supportive, kitchen italia did finally come to my aid and now i can put this matter to rest. may i personally thank the after sales care team manager for all his efforts in resolving my problems and should anyone wish to contact me about the credability of kitchen italia,..please do so (email toweruk85@yahoo.com) i think that when purchasing a kitchen from kitchen italia,..they do state that they are not responsible for there fitters actions,..i would say that should you have your own personal fitter then that would be more of a better idea,..kitchen italia kitchen products are attractively priced and competitive against other high street kitchen retailers...delivery of the kitchen product was swift and in good order... yours faithfully anthony shaffer

having found this by mistake,i thought i would add to my experiance. Having spent slightly more than i thought i would, (who does,nt) the service we have had was worth every penny.the designer thouht of a view things we had,nt, and the surveyor checked all the technical stuff, which was reassuring. we arranged a date for install during school holidays which suited us. The delivery was on time, and the installer promptley arrived. From start to finish approx 5 days, which included a couple of replacement doors, the end result was stunning. We decided to have granite, so we are waiting for that to follow,(keep you updated).as money is a bit tight at the moment, I will recommend kitchen italia to all my friends, but not my enemies.keep you posted.
