Little Chef

We had an excellent meal. Really worth going. The portions were just right in that I felt I had had a good meal without eating more than I wanted, and that included a desert. The decor is bright, clean and modernand the staff friendly and helpful. A thoroughly positive experience. The only criticsm I would give is the service could be speeded up. If they could improve on that there would be a higher turnover of custom. I very much hope this experiment will be rolled out countrywide.

The revamped Popham Litle Chef is WELL WORTH a visit.

The revamped Little Chef in Popham is very good. Heston Blumenthal has worked a bit of is magic. The food quality is vastly improved, the service was prompt and the re-furbished diner was a good place to be. It is still a little bit pricey, but at least at Popham you get more bang for your buck. I doubt whether Little Chef will replicate Popham across the country so I won't be visiting other Little Chefs based on my Popham experience.

Vast improvement on regular Little Chefs. Service was good, value for money is not great relative to competitors.
