Just had my first Ocado experience and am very impressed. Easy to use. Slick and friendly service. Looking forward to using them on a regular basis and avoiding the weekly supermarket scrum. Only downside is that prices are on the high side as don't think you get the same choice of offers as you would in an actual supermarket. But, by the time you factor in the time and petrol saved, for me, it's worth it.

Considerable problems in delay receiving emails from Ocado, and Customer Services just not listening to the complaints. Seemingly there is an issue between the Ocado server and BTInternet subscribers. Neither will accept responsibility.

As a non driver, and a busy working mum, I have always been and am an on line grocery customer. Have tried each food retailer and settled on Ocado when it first announced its link with Waitrose as I am a JLP account holder. Since Ocado have created their Tesco price match, the delivery charges have shot up - I am guessing to offset their losses on food prices. This to me represents a cheap con, at my expense so consequently, and since Ocado is a "Partner", it has changed my perception of JLP and I refuse to use the service and rarely go into a Waitrose store.

Used to be good but have been let down twice by them now. When I complained they weren't even bothered.

Always great communication, any problems sorted out courtiously. Used to nave issues with 'use by dates', but this now greatly improved with dates on site. Many prices for basics now compare well to 'Big 4', and quality far better. Only problem is limited stock compared to stores.

Whenever I have has an issue it has been dealt with in a fast and efficient manner and does not happen again. Excellent website and freshness/use by date second to none. Receipt that lists products by sell by date is an excellent idea. I would not do my on line shopping anywhere else.

I have the Ocado on demand which gives great value for money. Sainsburys may deliver free some days but you don't get half of what you ordered! I have deliveries twice a week (no extra cost with on demand) so have no problems with use by dates and always have a delivery coming soon if I run out of something. They always turn up on time and even give me a free newspaper to reaf with my breakfast (early morning deliveries in this house!)
