Hopeless for online purchases ! Have had goods on order with these folks since 5th December 2007. Items shown as in stock at time of ordering. Part of order cancelled by them due to stock being unavailable. Remainder of order placed on "backorder" until mid January, before order status being updated to "in progress". Credit card charged on 16th January despite statement on customer services saying "your credit card will not be charged until goods are ready for despatch" Still waiting for goods to arrive as of 16/02/2008 Arrghh !!! I would suggest you give Zavvi a wide berth until they become a bit more 'savvy' with what good customer service entails

A boring version of HMV. I've always found HMV a far superior music browsing experience. HMV is also very much trend setting in its endless sale and price offers - and finally the virgin website isnt a patch on the hmv one which is great

Slightly better service than HMV in my opinion, hard to compare on value - both shops always have loads of deals on, but neither can compare with online prices really.
