I ordered some baggy mountain biking shorts online, including liners. When they arrived I only got the liner - but was charged for the full set. Meant I had to return even though they sent the wrong order. They did refund without question, but I wish they just hadn't bothered sending the wrong item.

I had my seat post and saddle stolen over the weekend. Extremely annoying, especially considering they are so expensive to replace. At least Evans Cycles took the stress out of finding replacements. They also showed me a Pinhead security system that should prevent it from happening again.

These guys delivered a totally faultless service. They special-ordered a part in from America for me. It arrived a week early. They fitted the part and rang to confirm that the bike was ready to collect - right on time. Their shop in Fulham is also open till 8pm so you can collect after work. Ideal.

I enquired about a bike for my wife and received first class service and attention. No question was left unanswered and I was made to feel that I was the only customer that mattered. I believe that they are good value for money but as I didn't actually buy anything I have left the rating as "0".

Great service and extremely good value. As competitive as I could find anywhere on the web.

It is not that the staff were rude it just isn't that much to ask for at least a smile when they are asking you to shell out on overpriced cycle equipment. I would buy elsewhere on-line normally but when you have to have it today you have no choice. They would just need a simple lesson in polite service to be an ok yet overpriced store. Instead they are quite a bad overpriced store!

Have had varied experience. Ranging poor (full service took them a month and an initial cost estimate of £380)to truly rather helpful - mostly on the helpful side. Even with the above saga - the assistant managed to placate me with a hefty discount and some sucking up. While not the cheapest around they do offer good impartial advice and generally don't try to sell you anything you don't need. Most of the staff are enthusiasts and surprisingly don't turn their nose up at you if you bowl into the shop looking like a moron in a suit (which is refreshing ahem Condor ahem). While their servicing can be a bit on the pricy side it is normally to a high standard. Put your bike in for a gear overhaul and you can pretty much guarantee they'll give the whole thing a bit of an inspection (eg tightening brakes etc). While maybe a bit trivial its a nice touch. On the whole thumbs up for service and about average for value for money.
