I have been with sky for over a year and only recently desovered that you have to pay in advance for everthing I was not prepared to pay for a sevice in advance. and sky are not prepared to let me so they have cut off my TV Broadband and Phone. and they continue to gain millions in interest by making all 10.5 million customers pay in advance I bet they don't pay there staff in advance. Its like they dont value there customers well me ayways I am a small fish in a big pond but i crawled out.

moved home 6 weeks ago still waiting for sky to move telephone. Telivision connected the next day, phone line and broadband still none existant and just told a different story every time we ring them!

Sky are cheeky, sending me a letter that they are putting subscription prices up. Don't they know there is a recession on?! Also the image quality through Sky is worse than through the digi tv box.

After 8 weeks finally got my refund but boy was this a struggle and got fobbed off so many times it even took them 30 days to produce a cheque!!!

I've just ditchd Sky TV, br I broadband and phone. The service was appauling, my Shy supplie wireless roter failed but they refused to replace it until I told them I was dropping their service. I'm now with The Post Office, so far so good and it's a lot cheaper.

I have been asking for repayment of overpayment on account for over 7 weeks and just keep getting fobbed off from pillar to post and the best so far is they have offered is a 50% refund - keeping £500 for themselves!!!!!!!

It has just become apparent that Sky set up 2 accounts for me which have been running simultaneously for 18 months. I have now close 1 of these. Now they are accusing me of having 2 HD boxes and giving one to a neighbour. 3 times I have been promised a refund. Now they are saying I can have half the monies against my account back. So they are keeping over £400!! - Notes on the system are not factual. Conversations have not been recorded or recorded inaccurately. Diabolical service. Very unimpressed.

Have had issues with Sky Broadband for a month now - intermittent service. They admit that there is a problem and promise to escalate the problem to BT but no sign of an engineer so far. They are useless! Am now looking for another provider

From Plebble AdviceCentre:
Don't let them fob you off. A provider with a good relationship/contract with BT will be able to get a BT engineer out within a couple of days and at worst, a week. Although bear in mind that you won't necessarily see the engineer when they come out - it depends where the fault is - the local switching exchange or at your property.

I called Sky today to take out phone, broadband and tv. A big commitment and a hot sales lead. The Sky salesman I spoke to couldn't be less interested. He was short and very unhelpful. Enough to make me rethink using Sky. I have since taken my business elsewhere.

Sky = Ripoff, Con Artists, Thives been a sky customer for more than 8 years now and finaly decided to change to virgin media because of value for money considering they now have all of the sky chanels anyway! rang up and asked them to cancel my sky after making no effort to retian my custom n e ways was told that would be fine and that 30 days from that point my service would stop and i would recive my final bill (which i am still waiting for!) after taking £75 via direct debt from my account i rang them up to find out why the bill was so high considering i was paying £35 a month to which i was told " i am not sure sir let me find out for you..... beeb beeb beeb" they had hung up on me i rang back and found out that it was a computer error and that for some reason beyond skys control my cancalation reqest had not been acted on and would therfore require a feather 30 days to disconect oh here we go! ok so therefore there would be no refund i am now 3 months on from that point and still paying for sky that i dont want and still trying to leave them if they loved me that much that they wanted me to stay they should of had made me a good deal in the first place but after being lied to hung up on and really lost my temper with and still am not getting anywere with this stupid company this company is like sitting on a fishing hook a pain in the a** to get out!
