The worst mobile phone provider ever. Their charges are ridiculous and they have a practice of charging you for texts or calls even when you have credit on your account, using obscure excuses. My biggest gripe with this lot are the sending of marketing texts including sneaky ones which on opening, automatically dial up their web n walk service (which I have no intention of subscribing too, it's extortionate), advertising some stupid downloads or online facility of theirs. Their web n walk is ridiculously overpriced and their marketing is illegal. Have reported them to the ICO twice and they've been reprimanded by the ICO twice but don't listen. I did manage to break my contract though on the basis that they are in breach of the protection from harassment regs and data protection act by continuing to harass me with marketing texts and telephone calls despite my complaints. I argued they couldn't enforce the contract because they are using it as a means to continue to harass me against my will and in breach of aforementioned laws. So sweet, up yours T-Mobile :-)

I have had nothing but hassle from this lot. Had battle with them ongoing for months over unsolicited marketing texts including sneaky ones that automatically connect to web n walk when you open them thus costing you a FORTUNE. Complained to Information Commissioner's Office who wrote to them telling them to stop it, T-Mobile just ignored it. Their staff are useless and completely unhelpful. Contract ends 21st July, I'll be cancelling and telling them to stick their contracts.

I am at the moment writing my complaint to them as I think that they have delt with me really badly, I have been with them for a short period of time based on that I was told by a few friends that they were good, and through word of mouth you are going to believe it hey? My phone was broken a few weeks ago by my dog and has cracked the inside of the screen, of course I thought it would be easy to have it fixed and thought that I could easily be delt with? I thought wrong! I spoke to the same department for the times that I rang them which was Technical Support. First person had no idea what he was speaking about, he told me that I'd have to pay for someone to look at my phone and then told me that I'd also have to pay for my phone to be fixed, as it was not under warranty, Okay he got the warranty bit right but other than that he was wrong. I spoke to someone else instantly after I spoke to him she said to me that I should deal with someone else as she had no idea what the procedure was and as it wasn't covered under warranty they couldn't fix my phone, period. The next person that I spoke to told me that they could send me a repairs bag for free, I could have someone look at my phone for free and it would be repaired for free, she did speak to someone after I think to double check and found out that I had to pay for it to be repaired, but couldn't tell me a price, she said that she would ring me in 5 mins when she had completed the form for the bag. She didn't ring me in 5 mins! I rang up today and spoke to someone, they told me that I am not being sent a bag so of corse I didn't bother to say anymore and just hung up...I rang again..I spoke to Customer Support this time and told them that I wanted to make a complaint, I told them exactly what I have stated above and she put me through to the repairs department, they told me that I was being sent a bag to repair my phone and that I would have to pay for the repairs on my phone...finally I had found out what I…

Had an 18 month £35 contract which has just finished.. not been very impressed with network coverage, often having weak/no signal indoors and in places where friends on other networks have signal. Paid additional £7.50p/m for web usage which is fast enough but not great considering O2 will bundle unlimited web usage on £35p/m contracts. No problems with billing or getting through to customer services, and they have made a couple of attempts to offer me a renewal deal. My main gripe (with all networks) is why I can have hundreds of inclusive minutes that I never use up, yet these cannot be used for 08** calls??? Same for International calls.. OK it costs more, but if it came out of my inclusive minutes I would be much more inclined to use it. Will any network make the leap to do this?? Noticed that BT are now bundling calls to 08** numbers on landline packages... Will most likely be moving back to O2 in the near future.

Their after sales service is awful. Call centre staff in far flung places all say the same thing but you get no where.

Apart from a shaky period with the Web and Walk Service for 6 months last year, the deal is pretty good. Although they'll soon slip down in my estimation because of the way newer plans have less and less inclusive value.

pros -good coverage, customer service has got better..., cons - extortionate prices for browsing without web and walk option. i was without web and walk for a week, and it came to 70 pounds. i was able to get this back by calling customer service and giving them a sob story.

Absolutely rubbish. Have held contracts with them for over 3 years and now my 2nd phone has come back with "liquid contamination" and they are refusing to fix it. Funnily enough, the assistant manager told me my previous phone had specific faults which was why it was breaking, and now my LG Viewty just happens to have the same contamination. I am a stay at home mum who uses her phone infrequently and it has never been near liquids since I got it. Funny how everything would be okay if I had only taken out that £10.00 per month insurance..... I pay £35 per month for a phone and service - is that not enough?! Will be cancelling both contracts we hold with the company and NEVER using them again.
