Good network til you have a problem. Their customer servicde, both in-store and via phone is worse than useless.

Changed from Vodafone to 3 and am pleased with the results. Generally good service, and at a lower price than I paid for Vodafone's poor and non-existent service. The Indian call centres can be a bit talkative and calls can take longer than needed as they clearly go through a prepared "script".

Unbelievably poor network coverage. Appalling customer service from call centre in India. I was unable to cancel contract despite having no service so had to pay for 2 mobile phones (the other one on Orange which has been trouble free so far) Am now taking court action to recover my money for the second time!!! My recommendation avoid this company at all costs!

Abysmal telephone customer services. I recently phoned to cancel my subscription after being a 3 mobile customer for 4 years. Cancellation was due to no mobile advertised as providing services I required (mobile email for Hotmail, outlook calendar, downloadable aplications to track individual stocks and shares etc). During the call I was mis-sold the LG Renoir handset, being told that it did what the iPhone did and more. After arrival and failing to make email work, I took it to a 3 store only to be told that the handset did not provide those services. Stopped using the phone, removed sim and repackaged as new immediately and attempted to cancel contract. No luck so attempted to upgrade to a Blackberry (more expensive contract) but still no luck. Given that I have been customer of 3 mobile for over 3 years, spent c. £1.5k on previous contracts am now extremely unhappy.

Incredibly bad customer service. People in store are helpful, but as soon as you need to talk to the call centre you have a frustrating experience dealing with incompetence at every step.

customer service is the worse i have ever encountered. You are put through to advisors who don't understand the problem you trying to put across.Whwn purchasing You are told you can return the mobile but when you try to you are told that you cannot. Whilst the calls you get are value for money, if you do have a problem you cannot get anyone to help you. Do not purchase a mobile for 3!!!!

Appalling customer service. Coming to the end of my contract even though I had taken a new contract out with the same company - i still had every person in that call centre call me to tell me the benefits of my old phone contract. Even when I asked why would i need 2 phones they still wouldn't listen to me. Now I'm stuck with another phone for 18 months and customer service where no one seems to understand English.

Works quite well. Not keen on lower cost for continuation with existing phone.
