Just had to call technical support. They answered the phone within 30 seconds, had a helpful attitude and sorted my problem out with minimum fuss. Wish technical support services for other computer/telephone companies could take a few lessons from Voipfone.

When Skype told me they had to take back my number I was gutted. I have given that number to all my contacts and it is on my business cards and stationary. Then someone told me about Voipfine who were able to license my number and port it from Skype. I thought it might be a hasle but in fact it was a breaze, made easier by their helpful staff. The design isn't as good as Skype's but the software works well and it works with my existing Skype phone. Great service.

So far so great! I'm switching my SkypeIn number over to Voipfone because Skype are going to cancel it and Voipfone have been great. It's so far been very easy to switch and even technical support answered within a few rings, spoke English and dealt with my issue straight away. The interface isn't as pretty but it's more phone-like + there are loads of extra features like call managing and emergency services. Hopefully they'll keep it up because if they do, I'd definitely recommend them over Skype.
