I was a customer for 4 years with no problem other than frequent disconnections. I wanted my MAC code which they failed to provide until finally I called them and demanded it, I was no longer prepared to accept the usual system failure excuse. I was told they couldnt give it over the phone . . really! I pointed out they wanted personal information to verify who I was so give me my MAC code! they reluctantly did! That was last December . . still receiving bills now for phone calls

Though I have closed my account with Pipex two months ago, and paid them all I owe they are still sending me bills., which I intend to ignore. But the most annoying thing is that periodically I get recorded phone calls from them asking to call on their expensive number t'urgently'. Hell will frieeze over before I will call them. What are they thinking? How2 stupid do they think peeople are?

I cancelled my service with Pipex last July, having been a loyal, if misguided customer for more than 6 years. It took 4 attempts to get a MAC code to allow me to transfer. A month after successfully getting the necessary code they billed me a cancellation charge of more than £200. This was wrong as no changes had been made to my account prior to cancellation, although they sneakily tried to get BT to redirect my phone service to them. Had BT not asked if I had requested this the change would have taken place. I have sent and received more than 40 emails and made as many telephone calls to get them to refund. They have promised said refund now 5 times. The payment has never arrived - all I get is excuse after excuse. It seems the only way forward now is through the county court system. Use this company at your peril. You are probably better off using a chocolate teapot on the fire.

I am owed a small ammount of money for phone calls made in July that should have been free but were charged. At first Customer services said that they had not made a mistake (they clearly had) and the charges would remain. They gave all sorts of possible reasons for the charges, all of which were completely irrelevant. Several e-mails later it appeared that they could not understand simple English! Finally they said they had escalated the incident to their Finance and Admin department and I should hear from them in 28 days. 28 days passed and nothing! I contacted them again and they said the incident was closed! So now they want full details, name, address etc before they will open another incident, despite the fact that I have given them the previous (or current as far as I am concerned) incident number and my phone and account number! I am making no progree at all, it's like talking to robots instead of normal people. They are absolutely useless!!!
