I am an Enigin distributor for just under 1 year and have already received all our initial investment back in product revenue and are quickly on our way to building a sizable list of satisfied customers. I would highly recommend Enigin and their comprehensive energy saving program EnergyMaps to anyone looking to start an energy saving business.

I am considering moving into this new venture but have had a number of negative responses elsewhere. I have to admit though that the Enigin website looks good so I would be interested in contacting you via e-mail ias I would like to knowt more.

They have helped my college to become more energy efficient - the meter they installed is really cool, you can see all the dials change on the computer screen when you turn things on. I think what they do is good

They have been very good, delivering not 40% savings, but easily far more than we have had to pay them.

I have been dealing with Enigin at work - they have come in and fitted and Eniscope and we have been monitoring our energy use for a couple of months, it has been fascinating to see where we have been wasting energy. We are changing the way we work and can see how we will save on our electricity costs already. We are now looking at putting in energy saving devices. Enigin installed everything as promised. we had slight concern when they had to delay the install but when they did the work it was excellent and we have had good back service since. I would highly recommend this company.

I am from and live in Dallas, Texas (USA). I have a client in Mexico interested in the Enigin product and has tasked me to do the research on the company. I need an unbiased review of the company and products. Does anyone have 1-2 good sources for me to use for my research?

I am the Operations Manager for an Enigin partner in Ireland. After reading the comments I would like to say this is a very positive business to be in and despite the recession it is what clients and businesses need now. The EnergyMaps solution does work. However similar to any business, a concentrated amount of effort is required. In one instance we have managed to save up to 80% of night time costs, simply by analysing the information provided by the Eniscope. Enigin supply a solid level of support to us. Even on our first installation we were able to save, and our client companies are very receptive to Enigin’s Energy Maps Program. We are successful in achieving sales and look forward to expanding and growing our business with Enigin.

Hello,
We operate 3 small convenience stores in Maryland, USA. Our Baltimore location agreed to install an Eniscope sold to us by Maryland Green Power Co, which is an Enigin representative near Washington, DC. Their brochure said that we could save 30% by installing their smart meter, but this company said they believed it was more like 10-20% without load side solutions.

Since that meant we could save $ 200 - $ 400 per month, and they offered to lease the system to us for less than that amount, we agreed since even a small net positive cash flow is better than nothing, however, we asked why they claimed a smaller energy saving than the brochure, and they said they like to be conservative.

During the first month, we did not save anything, but just watched our energy usage in real time, which we could not do before.

On the second month, a representative came in and gave us a 2 hour training and "energy walk" which was kind of confusing, but started to make sense. We asked for a second demonstration and they came in again after another week.

After we learned how to read the meter on our wireless devices, it became clear how to find our energy wasting culprits. The day shift competed against the night shift for title of best energy saver, with each winning one month so far. The employees are enjoying the competition and are getting close to 30 % savings. The Green Maryland Power guys looked surprised at the results, especially when we asked them to install EnergyMaps in the other stores.

We are still paying the lease payments for the first Energy Maps program, but the lease cost is less than 1/3 of our savings.

I think our employees have developed some good, permanent habits like turning off the food heating lamps when not in use, and making sure the refrigerators seal tight after customers open them. They never cared in the past if a plastic food bag got caught in the door and caused the cool air to leak out of the freezers. They occasionally check the closets and bathrooms for lights left on. Unbelievable. All of this just to receive recognition!

Thank you. The money saved helped us hire a part-timer for an extra 60 hours of work per month. We really needed the extra cashier!

I investigated this matter and discovered Ian Wrigley is still on the board of directors at Somar - apparently I was told he set up a new company, Enigin, to move in a different direction than Somar

I would like to know why Ian Ridgely, who founded Somar International, left the company to set up a new one when Somar still operates as a well established company full of accreditations and recomendations? Why start again? Was there a difference of opinion on the metering project which Somar apparently do not have?

I have had some initial dealing with Enigin in my retail business and am surprised thst their rating is not higher. Their electrician was superb and did a great job installing the Endiscope monitor and I am amazed at what I can now read about my energy use. They have been very helpful and professional and currently I am delighted by what they have done, they have lots more to do so I will rate them again on value for money later on.

I am a bursar at a large school in the UK and we have had an Enigin Eniscope installed since Christmas and it has already shown major areas where we can save electricity. We have had an energy walk-around and we are delighted with the service we have recieved from Enigin and look forward to see the full audit report. I am also delighted to be able to see what is being wasted and it helps me to do my job in the best way possible.
