Marine Megastore

Ordered some Ultraflex outboard cables and connectors as a replacement to the ones that had too much play on my sons boat. Came the same week and were well packed so the small parts could be easily located in the packaging. Will prob order again

This company has all the signs of going down the plughole. They take your money then order and if it is sent to them they may get round to sending it to you. Take my advice and order from an old established and reputable company. this lot are a complete waste of time and effort.

Please avoid disappointment and don't buy from the Marine megastore. They took my order withdrew my money through my creditcard, but I am still waiting for the one item I ordered. I have rung and been promised a return call that never arrived, emailed twice, tried to use their chat facility. Called again and been told that the item was being delivered 'tomorrow' (that was nearly two weeks ago). It has now been nearly two months of waiting and still no news from them. These day's I am used to Amazon and find this pathetic level of service amazing. I just hope I get my money back before they go out of business as they surely will if this is their normal practise.

Last year I bought a service kit for Lewmar winch which was starting to cease and causing me problems with tacking. The product was well made, priced well (for Lewmar) and they also gave me a discount which then made it slightly cheaper than the neares competitor and arrived within a few days. Product was packed inside a jiffy bag so it contained all the small bits which can sometimes come out the packaging. Since then I bought a winch handle they had on special offer from the same brand and that also arrived within a few days.

My card was charged 6 days before the goods were even dispatched, I even popped into the offices to enquire about another item and was ignored by a kid playing on his ipod, who claimed to be a manager. Not to mention that there was stock everywhere all over the floor, Had to clamber over 3 boxes just to get some attention. Can't see this company lasting very long at all. Won't be using again and will be recommending someone else instead.

They take your money first, then order the goods. They don't give you any order updates; I placed an order on 1 Feb 2010 and 22 days later I'm still waiting. The order is still in processing status. Really bad service.

Order placed 3+ months ago. 4 out of 5 items eventually arrived after 3 or 4 weeks. Still waiting for last item (luckily only £5 worth). No response to e-mails requesting immediate supply or cancel order and refund. Will ot use them again.

Just had delivered some shurhold cleaning products, arrived within a week like they said and packaging was appropriate. Item is good quality and will hopefully last a long time

dinghy i just bought was a good price and came within a few days. Haven't blown it up yet but box looks to be new and all parts were inside as they were meant to be

Goods don't arrive, emails are ignored, no-one answers the phone. I paid by credit card so will probably get my money back but could do without the waste of my time.
