Order camera on 23 July and credit card debit I am told at time of order not dispatch. Order sat for almost 10 days in processing category according to website info. Unsatisfactory replies to two emails. Cancelled order. Did not get refund until 24th August. I use the internet for speed of service!! Incidentally ordered from another company, which I will review, at only slightly great cost - order came next day. Will not use this supplier again - once bitten, twice shy.

They promised a Sigma lense as being in stock delivery, in 3 to 10 working days. They took the money out of my credit card immediately and when it became obvious that it would not arrive within that time (the deadline was a Friday) I cancelled the order on Thursday. They then said that they had been unable to stop the delivery which arrived on Saturday obviuosly having been dispatched 24 hours after my cancellation. Suspicious of the warranty I received I contacted Sigma with the serial number who tell me that it is a gray import without manufacturers warranty. I reiterated the return request and forwarded Sigma's comments. The story goes on and on but simply I cannot get an RMA form out of them and 'Customer Service' cuts me off or says that it is out of business hours (1.40pm on a Thursday!) Avoid Avoid Avaoid!

Web site said the item was in stock and despatched in 1 to 2 days. 3 weeks later, having charged my card immediately, there is still no sign of delivery. Don't touch with a barge pole.

I ordered 16th Dec and paid for expedited delivery (next day). Item arrived 5th January despite assurances given that I would have it prior to Christmas. When it arrived, it was in good condition. If thinking of dealing with these people, do not dream of it if you require a prompt delivery or expect any form of normal customer service. Their phones are never answered. You get a recording for 9 mins and are then disconnected. Emails are replied to within 2 business days and rarely answer your query so for each question you need answered it takes 2 days! I dread the thought of anything going wrong with my lens as I would not like to be trying to have the fault rectified! Go elsewhere would be my advice from my own personal experience with this company.

i was unaware of how unreliable simply electronics was before i bought my camera from them. it was delivered quickly and all appeared well until it broke whilst on holiday. i sent it back to the company for repair as suggested on the website. since i sent it back in november i suspect it has 'gone missing'. i cannot speak to anyone at simply electronics and their emails are passifying and patronsing. i am currently looking into other options to get my camer/money back.

Nottingham address is residential and merely a 'go-between' ...company is actually in Kowloon, Hong Kong. A service company in Berkshire actually despatches for them, but only when they're told to by SimplyElectronics & given the necessary details. Telephone number given hardly ever answered and cuts off automatically. Email response appears to merely attempt to pacify - judging by other reviews found & personal experience, deliveries seem rarely as indicated (2 days express, 3-8 standard. Other similar reviews can be found on places such as AVForums and Ebay. They plead volume of business for delays, damaged shipments, lost items etc., and when refunds are requested, it can take a long time to come through. It appears many do get their goods, but generally not quickly, and there's speculation that there are 'grey' goods amongst items supplied - not had my own order yet after 9 days, so cannot comment specifically. The website appears professional but the promise of items in stock and delivery times fall far below expectations, and could be described as misrepresentaion. Regarding the value for money score - Any money saved is at the purchasers risk of not having a good buying experience.
