Dear Nathaniel, I would like to express my gratitude for the work and commitment that you and your colleagues at Simply Learning Tuition have shown to both of my children, Alexander (age 17) and Margeuax (age 20). As a parent, I know the importance of education. Having children who have not taken as much of a liking to school and need the extra guidance, both educationally and in life mentoring, has shown me that there are helpful alternatives to traditional education. Both Alex and Margeaux were below average students and needed a very disciplined and intense schedule to get them back on track. In Alexander’s case, it was the lead up to his GCSE exams and for Margeaux it was a redirection of effort post her A levels. In both cases I have been very impressed with your level of professionalism, the team of tutors that you have working at Simply Learning and the level of commitment that all of them have shown to myself and my children throughout. Alexander’s private school in Battersea had already written him off and gave up on him educationally. Simply Learning stepped in and showed Alex that he had the ability to succeed and you helped him with his confidence in the subject matter and in taking exams. You gave Alex more of a sense of focus than he was getting at school or at home from me - due to my work schedule. Alexander became more self-disciplined about studying and it showed in his GCSE results, moving from a C/D student to a B/C in less than two semesters. I liked very much the constant feedback that you and team were providing throughout. Your team’s understanding of the subject matter and the task at hand was well coordinated. You constantly made available the scheduling to both Alex and I in both hard copy and E-mail. I was also very impressed with the multiple consultations via phone, e-mail and even in person. 6th October, 09 To Whom it May Concern Sam French was introduced to us by Simply Learning Tution. My 13 years old daughter was changing schools and was going to be assessed in English and Maths. She had 9 classes with Mr.French for an hour each. This is my daughter's feedback: "Sam was very enthusiastic. He clearly enjoys teaching. He was genuinely interested in my ideas and encouraged me to share them. There was lots of variety in his lessons. They were enjoyable and I learnt a lot. He also taught me things outside the curriculum. For example – New topics in Literature were introduced. It was very interesting. If I did not understand something he was ready to teach it differently without getting irritated. Sam is very patient, kind and also funny. He is a great teacher" As you can see Sam had a wonderful rapport with my daughter. She did very well in her assessments. My husband and I found Sam courteous and cheerful.
